Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) – Student Licensing

Access Student Name Based Licenses

The following information is for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses that are to be used on personal student systems.

Adobe Creative Cloud is also available to any student (below license not required) for use in the following Computing Labs: 0021 0220 (Wagga Campus) and 1399 0125 (Bathurst Campus).

How Can I get a license?

Student Licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud are only available to students enrolled in eligible subjects while those subjects are running (I.E. during the session).

Licenses will be made available during the teaching session as per the academic calendar

What Subjects are eligible for a license?

Student licenses are available to the following subjects:

  • COM128
  • COM129
  • COM131
  • COM132
  • COM133
  • COM134
  • COM135
  • DCC200

Eligible subjects are being added as new subjects are written. If your subject doesn’t appear on this list please contact your subject coordinator to discuss this with the Faculty Technical Services Team.

How do I sign in to access Adobe CC?

Your Adobe CC license is linked to your CSU account.

  1. Open Adobe CC or a previously installed Adobe CC application
  2. Click Sign In with an Enterprise ID
  3. Enter the following (changing username to your CSU username): username@student.csu.edu.au and click continue
  4. Click the password field if you haven’t already been redirected to the Account type screen
  5. Click Enterprise ID
  6. The application will redirect you to the CSU Authentication page
  7. Enter your CSU Username and password in the fields provided
  8. Click Sign In

Where can I Install Adobe CC from?

Once you have been granted a Name Based License for Adobe CC you can download the the Adobe Desktop App and follow the standard installation processes from Adobe.

If you are installing from a home internet connection please be aware that you may incur charges for data transferred while using the products.

License Restrictions and Devices

The following conditions apply for the use of the provided Adobe Creative Cloud software:

  • Charles Sturt University student provided software licenses are not to be used for commercial gain.
  • If the student leaves the university or has unenrolled from all eligible subjects the license will be revoked
  • The licenses are provided per active subject.
  • Licenses are assigned to individual users and linked to your CSU account. As per standard policies, these details are not to be shared.
  • The license is valid for use on up to 2 machines concurrently, irrespective of the ownership of the machine.
    • For example, you can be using both your personal laptop and a desktop.
    • Should you attempt to login to a third device you will be prompted to either sign out of another device. Choice a device you are not using and continue.
  • This license requires an active internet connection for installation, required update and authentication/activation of the license.

Due to the large range of applications provided as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud it is difficult to provide a summary of the system requirements needed. The best way to identify this is to browse Adobe’s Help Centre for the product you wish to use and look for the system requirements.
